-He
loves to hunt and fish but he is also an avid bird and wildlife
"watcher" and spends as more time caring for and feeding wildlife
on his property on Lake Moultrie and the Deer Club which he is a member of,
than he does actually hunting. Ray and his family love to
watch the nesting process of the birds and waterfowl, even to the point of
"naming" some of the more prominently marked birds.
"Barney" has been coming back to the Sedgwick home every spring for
the last four years to enjoy the daily banquet specially prepared for him
and his buddies. Last year, Ray and his family rescued a newly hatched
mallard duckling who was rejected by his mother.

At two months, "Echo" was turned over to wildlife rehabilitators who
returned him to his natural habitat when he was ready.
